There comes a moment in every home remodel or renovation project when we panic. Really panic. The house is a disaster zone, there hasn’t been any progress for weeks, there are lead cords and buckets and acres of plastic sheeting everywhere – the whole thing is a fiasco and Thanksgiving is right around the corner; family from up north is on their way. Okay. Time to take a step back. Grab a coffee – better yet, some wine. Breathe. It’s going to be okay. Remember why you started the project in the first place. Think how lovely it will be once it’s all done. Remind yourselves again how long it took to get the whole thing organized. And congratulate yourselves for hiring professionals – because they’ll have to clear away all the messes! Phew!
